Several months ago, we were picked in the conference pre-season poll to finish lower than fifth out of eight teams. Well, we blasted that prediction away last night as we absolutely hammered the Jessies (William Jessup University) 3-0, earning a respectable fourth place conference finish with a 7-7 record. All four seniors played out of their heads in their last collegiate match and freshman middle blocker, Kaitlin Halterman sealed the final set with a straight down solo block. It was a great, emotional finish to our season.
Our seniors have laid out a solid foundation as they leave the program, and we are excited about those of you who are looking at Bethany as the place to continue your education and volleyball career next fall.
