We spend a lot of time training and practicing, but we also do our best to be involved in things that are much bigger than volleyball. This past week, the team joined nearly 100 or so BU students for the Bethany 'Freeze Project'- a silent demonstration to raise awareness about world-wide human trafficking. This was held in downtown Santa Cruz-which is already cool an weird without people acting like statues-and created many a puzzled from onlookers as everyone suddenly froze for 5 minutes! Look at freshman, Meredith, Lauren and Kelsey in their statuesque style. We still haven't received official video of our freeze, but here is the link to the official Freeze Project site.
