Last night we beat a competitive alumni squad 25-23, 20-25, 25-9, 25-20. 21 former players representing over a decade of BU volleyball returned to campus to take part in this annual event that allows our current squad to meet, fellowship and compete against former Bethany players. I can safely say that this event attracts more former players than schools that are much larger in size - a true testament of the family atmosphere that exists here. It was a fun night on the court as there was playful bantering, sign stealing, and solid volleyball all presided over by referee Mark Brewer, who over the years officiated matches with just about everyone in attendance.
