Hi E1 - A final blog before we jump enthusiastically into the New Year. I anticipate the team will return from Christmas break ready to embrace the challenge of becoming smarter, better and stronger. New recruits will sign on, adding strength and depth to our program. A recent FCA devotion reminds me of what each New Year brings to our volleyball program…
New Opportunities: opportunity for someone else to step up, for an incoming player to make an impact. New Challenges: Will we be as competitive as we were last season? Will we be able to execute as effectively? What will be our new struggles? New Relationships: Who will become the new team leader? How will the new players fit into the system? New Realities: Will this be a championship team, or a team that does not handle failure well? Two Thousand Nine will provide us with new opportunities and challenges. We will have new relationships and realities as well. As the author of the devotion sums up
…Go forth and face those challenges with the knowledge that God is in control. He is going before you and has your back. In fact, He will see you through! Just in case you have not heard- here in CA, this year also brings a New Law: No texting while driving. HHTYAY TTYL I need a COFY refill!
