The #5. That is the key number for us right now. I’m not talking about my daughter Mia who just turned 5. We have 5 matches remaining in conference play (3 of them at home!). 5 is the number of teams that make the CalPac conference tournament this year. At the beginning of the season, we made a goal to make the conference tournament. Did we want to finish fifth? That would be a big phat, absurd, “NO.” We always play to win and as the wins and losses have stacked up this season and with some personnel changes, it has become our all-consuming goal to be one of those 5 teams left standing. With a 3-4 conference record, we still have a lot of work to do. Everything will be determined in the next few weeks, and with 5 matches remaining, we still have a lot to play for right now. Time to BUnited and get er' done! Have a good weekend out there in volleyball land!
