post-season push

When we opened camp in August with our youthful squad, we set a goal to reach the CalPac tourney-a very doable, realistic goal for our team. Despite bouts of the flu, random injuries, missed matches, different line-ups and finger-tip trauma from texting, we gave our best effort to reach that goal. I never imagined that our final conference match on Friday will decide our post-season fate (I anticipate a lively match against Simpson). A win on Friday, puts us in a messy three-way tie for the final two spots in the tourney. Sideout note: Pray specifically for no messy, three-way ties next season.
