bring on the conference

 Iced Coffee type of day here.  It is sizzling in Scotts Valley as we are enjoying a great visit with a recruit and about t-minus 4hrs before we serve up the 2010 CalPac Conference slate tonight!  We finished up the preseason with a 6-5 record, two sprained ankles, one Player of the Week selection, and two All-tournament team selections.  All and all not bad - but we will be better Thankfully, we are home for both of our conference matches - tonight against Mills College and tomorrow against, preseason favorite, Holy Names University.  Bruins are ready to get after it (or as the ladies say - "Make it Rain!"), the "Cave Crew" will be strong in the house and the next 7 weeks will be a grind.  Hope your season is off to a great start.  Enjoy what you do (play volleyball), do it for God's glory, be humble and never quit.  Keep in touch about your volleyball happenings.
