the grind
October is a grind - we're in the midst of second-round of conference, ice bags are permanently attached to the shoulders of OH1 and MB1, I wake up every morning saying "win the serve/pass game," shorter practices accommodate the downtime required to make a late season run, what should I wear for Halloween, and where is my coffee cup? This month also carries a heavy dose of emails, letters, DVD's and calls from PSA's known and unknown that want to become Bethany Bruins...that was a great swing...rewind...slow mo...yep, that was a great swing again.Multi-tasking is a must (blogging, practice planning, scheduling PSA visits, paying the mortgage)...ok, great block but the energy output of a three-toed sloth. Really? this wins you a free trip to the DVD recycle pile. I am excited about our current short list PSA's not in the pile - yous in the 559, 623, 530, 949, 661, and 719 that very well may be the next to don a Bethany Bruins jersey. Enjoy the challenges of the sport, stay healthy in body, mind and spirit, and enjoy the remainder of your seasons.
