all in for the bonus round

 

Last month's grind has resulted in playoffs (aka the extra season). Our 7-5 conference record and set won/loss ratio earned us the #3 seed and opportunity to host the 1st round of the 2010 California Pacific Conference Tournament.  Last Spring we set several team goals for this fall, one of which was to finish the regular season no lower than third.  Despite several bumps along the way, we reached that goal.  Are we satisfied with a 3rd place finish? - no way!  Playoffs, extra season, the bonus round, whatever you want to call it presents the opportunity to do great things as a team on a bigger stage.  Many of you are on a parallel path through your respective playoff opportunities and regardless what seeding your team has received - win the serve/pass game, outwork your opponent, and soak up and enjoy the experience with your team.  Best sets and Peppermint Mocha's throughout playoffs.
